SessionDock keeps your creative sessions organized.

SessionDock keeps your creative sessions organized beautifully. It was built by an indie developer who got tired of juggling Logic, Ableton, and endless project folders. SessionDock gives you one clean hub to browse, preview, and organize your DAW sessions with notes, artwork, and audio previews that just work.

Getting started

Tap to expand
What is SessionDock?+
SessionDock is a desktop companion built for music producers who juggle multiple DAW projects. It centralizes session metadata, artwork, audio previews, and launch shortcuts so your creative catalog stays organized across macOS and iOS.
Which platforms does SessionDock support?+
The macOS app is available today, with Windows and Android builds in active development. You can browse your synced catalog on iPhone via the SessionDock Companion app.
Do I need an account to use SessionDock?+
No account is required for local use. You'll only need to sign in with your Apple ID when enabling SessionDock Pro so the app can access your existing iCloud Drive workspace.

Sync and storage

Tap to expand
How does SessionDock sync my sessions?+
SessionDock uses iCloud Drive to keep your library in sync. If iCloud Drive is turned on for both devices and the SessionDock folder is available, everything stays up to date on its own.
Can I work offline?+
Absolutely. SessionDock remembers your changes while you're offline and pushes them to iCloud the next time you have a connection—without overwriting newer edits.
Where are my files stored?+
Your original sessions stay right where you saved them—SessionDock never moves those files. We keep a small library file and optional audio previews in your Mac's Application Support folder so everything is easy to find.

Licensing and pricing

Tap to expand
Is SessionDock free?+
SessionDock Free lets you catalog up to four sessions on macOS. Upgrading to SessionDock Pro removes that limit and unlocks iCloud Drive sync, manual backup packs you trigger yourself, and the mobile companion.
How do Pro entitlements work across devices?+
Pro is tied to the Apple ID you used to buy it. Sign in with that Apple ID on your Mac and iPhone and the Pro features follow you. We'll bring the same sign-in flow to Windows and Android later this year.

Support and troubleshooting

Tap to expand
What should I do if previews stop updating?+
Open SessionDock, visit Settings → Sync, and request a manual refresh. If previews still lag, run the "Rebuild Previews" action from the session menu to regenerate waveforms and artwork.
Does SessionDock create automatic backups?+
SessionDock Pro lets you save manual backup packs whenever you like—perfect before a big session or client review.
How can I report a bug or feature request?+
Email support@sessiondock.com with what happened and any screenshots you have. We read every message and fold the feedback into our roadmap.
