SessionDock Privacy Policy Last updated: October 14, 2025 SessionDock runs locally on your Mac. We do not collect, upload, or sell your personal data. Your session catalog lives entirely on disk unless you opt in to iCloud sync, so you stay in control of your projects and metadata. What we store locally: - Session details, tags, and metadata you add in the app - Preview thumbnails generated on your machine - Preferences such as workspace locations and UI settings - Sync manifests and caches needed to reconcile with iCloud when enabled All data stays within the SessionDock application support directory on your device unless you opt in to iCloud sync. Removing the app or deleting its data folder clears the information permanently. Optional iCloud sync (iPhone companion only): If you enable iCloud sync for the iPhone companion apps, SessionDock writes the metadata and preview assets required to keep your devices aligned into your personal iCloud Drive (Apple File Provider container). Files include session manifests, tags, references to thumbnails, and audio previews so the mobile app can display the same context. Nothing is ever uploaded to SessionDock-operated servers, and we cannot access the information that resides in your iCloud account. You can turn sync off at any time from preferences, which stops future uploads; remove the SessionDock folder from iCloud Drive if you want to clear previously synced data. Third-party services: SessionDock does not use analytics, advertising, or third-party tracking services. The app communicates only with macOS and, if you enable sync, Apple's iCloud infrastructure using your own account. Your choices: You can delete your SessionDock data at any time by removing the application support folder manually and, if iCloud sync is enabled, deleting the SessionDock folder from iCloud Drive because those synced files are not removed automatically.
